ETRO PRESENTS ‘PAISLEY HOLIDAYS’ WITH A FESTIVE SHOWCASE
Staged as a theatrical performance, the Paisley Holidays campaign is infused with the eclectic spirit of a traveling company of creative talents from various artistic realms, featuring an opera singer, two chefs who are friends of the brand, a circus performer, a dancer, a magician, a drummer, and a violinist—accompanied on stage by Mr. Teddy and interviewed by journalist Sasha Maria Bell.
Divided into three acts, Mr. Teddy’s adventure as the Master of Ceremonies kicks off in New York, travels to Rio de Janeiro, and flies across the ocean to the Swiss mountains, culminating in a grand opening in Milan.
In the central act, the ensemble performs at the Teatro Gerolamo, a delightful vintage venue in the heart of Milan, showcasing their talents alongside the exclusive projects and products from the Paisley Holidays collection, including the Panettone and Pandoro Etro X Aimo e Nadia.
The women’s party looks feature ornamental paisley patterns and luxurious fabrics like silk and duchess satin, instilled with modern haute-boho vibes, while the men’s collection offers tailored suits in classic or vibrant hues, made from velvet to jacquard silks.
The iconic Arnica fabric, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is highlighted on the Saturno and Hobo bags with sparkling crystal embellishments, along with the Libra and Vela bags adorned with laminated effects, floral embroideries, and multicolor prints. Other gift ideas include charming small accessories, textile creations, jewelry, and sunglasses.
In the festive show, the performers from Etro’s theatre company feature Ethiopian-Italian soprano Mariam Battistelli, who enchants with “Musetta’s Waltz” from La Bohème; circus artist Louisa Ganzel; ballet dancer Tang Yi; card magician Sir Nick; drummer Luigi Bianco; and violinist Ragnheidur; They are joined by chefs Alessandro Negrini and Fabio Pisani, the masterminds behind the panettone and pandoro in collaboration with Aimo e Nadia Milano.
The playful and enchanting spirit of Paisley Holidays is brought to life in themed displays at Etro pop-ups and boutiques in major cities around the world throughout the holiday season.
