As luxury travel becomes increasingly defined by privacy and a sense of restoration rooted in place, Shebara Resort and British luxury loungewear house Olivia von Halle have partnered to unveil an exclusive silk sleepwear capsule inspired by the resort’s unmistakable architecture and island setting. The collection reimagines Olivia von Halle’s signature silk pyjama and eye mask in a bespoke steely-blue colourway developed for the resort.
Set on an idyllic private Island within The Red Sea destination in Saudi Arabia, Shebara is distinguished by its polished stainless-steel overwater villas, whose reflective surfaces mirror the shifting blues of the sea and sky. Appearing to float above the water, the sculptural forms change with the light throughout the day, at times seeming to dissolve almost entirely into the horizon.
Inspired by this extraordinary setting, the collection carries Shebara’s design language through its colour and finish. Olivia von Halle has translated the villas’ changing tones into silk, capturing the richer blues of the water and the softer washes of the sky, along with the quiet, mirrored sheen of the villas themselves. Together, these details give the collection a character intrinsically connected to its setting, transforming Shebara’s architectural identity into something guests can wear.
Beyond its visual inspiration, the partnership brings together two brands with a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and the restorative rituals that define a luxurious stay. Finished with Olivia von Halle’s signature mother-of-pearl buttons, the pyjama subtly echoes Shebara’s overwater villas, whose gleaming forms appear across the sea like a string of pearls. Both the pyjama and eye mask are embroidered with a bespoke Shebara monogram and presented in a limited-edition gift box designed to be kept.
