A free drop-in event combining music, creativity and family fun through beginner-friendly DJ experiences
The world’s first AlphaTheta Premium Dealer store is hosting it’s Family DJ Day on Friday, 3rd July from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, giving children aged 5 to 15 and their parents the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of DJing together. Combining education, creativity and entertainment, the complimentary event has been designed to make music technology more accessible while encouraging families to explore a new skill side by side through a unique and memorable shared experience.
Hosted within the store’s dedicated DJ booth and studio space, Family DJ Day will feature beginner-friendly 10 to 15-minute DJ lessons, allowing parents and children to step behind the decks and learn the basics of mixing music under the guidance of trained specialists and passionate music enthusiasts. No previous experience is required, making the event accessible to families looking to try something different while gaining hands-on experience with professional DJ equipment.
Alongside the DJ lessons, attendees can enjoy refreshments, face painting, complimentary t-shirts with personalised name embroidery, and photo opportunities within a professional DJ booth. Families will also have the opportunity to participate in a Parent vs Child Mixing Challenge, creating memorable moments together while receiving video clips to take home as keepsakes. Goodie bags and hands-on equipment trials will round out the experience, giving families even more opportunities to engage with the world of DJ technology.
