1 . Tell us a little about SOAK – when did you launch and what makes you stand out?
SOAK opened its doors in September 22. We originally opened in City Walk but relocated at the start of the year due to redevelopment of the area. SOAK prides itself on offering only the best services, by the highest trained technicians and at competitive prices. We are known for offering a personal service to all our clients, we take the time to get to know you and offer only what you need. We never compromise on the quality of our products using only market leading brands such as The Gel Bottle, Nouveau Lash and Davines. We believe in being kind to the planet as well as our clients and maintain a constant on being ethical and sustainable.
2 . Gel or acrylic and why?
Hands down (pardon the pun) our most popular treatment is BIAB nails! BIAB stands for Builder in a Bottle and is the hero product of British brand The Gel Bottle. BIAB provides a strengthening layer over your natural nail, allowing it to strengthen and grow without the risk of breakage. It is fortified with a number of nutrients which actually nourish the nail as you wear it, it can be used to create a strengthening layer over your natural nail, offering strength and uniformity, or it can be used to build out a slight extension. Think of it as stronger and more long lasting than a gel polish but gentler on your nails than acrylic!
3 . What are the summer hair trends and how can we hydrate our hair during the coming months
In terms of summer hair trends, clients are wanting easy to manage and hair as natural as possible! Hydration is key in this climate, especially during these humid summer months! We offer a number of hydrating treatments that will leave your hair soft, shiny and manageable. We have a gorgeous nourishing hair butter from Davines which is applied at the backwash, all the way through to a Kerasilk keratin treatment which can defrizz your hair for up to 6 months!
4 . Most trending beauty treatment right now and why?
Aside from BIAB nails, clients are going crazy for a lash lift! We use the original and best LVL products from Nouveau lash which stands for Length, Volume and Lift. The LVL treatment thickens and curls the lashes giving a dramatic effect without the need for extensions!
