Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi’s premier business and lifestyle destination, is preparing to celebrate the festive season by transforming the South Plaza into a breathtaking Winter Wonderland playground. Guests can get into the holiday spirit during the unmissable event taking place every day between 14 – 26 December from 03:00pm – 10:00pm.
Join us on weekdays for special showings of your favourite Christmas movies, including Home Alone 1 & 2, Frozen, Santa Clause, Christmas Chronicles, The Grinch and Miracle on 34th Street.
Live Performances (Friday – Sunday)
- Be Our Guest 04:15 PM: from a small village to a large castle, join Belle and her newfound friends on a ride of a lifetime. Sing and dance along with anticipation as the rose petals fall.
- A Whole New World 06:30 PM: Join Aladdin for a magical ride across the kingdom and enjoy an extraordinary adventure of discovering treasure and finding friendship and true love.
- Home Alone 08:45 PM: Keep Kevin company this winter as he sets out on a quest to keep out unwanted guests, but shhh do not tell his parents what he gets up to whilst they are away!
Ice Skating, Snow Slide, Snow Park and Snow Globe
Feeling full and looking for an adrenaline kick or to have some frosty fun? Set course to the ice-skating rink, snow slide, snow park and snow globe which are part of this year’s Winter Wonderland again.

Activities at The Galleria
Wondering what to do after freeing Genie from his lamp? Set out on a mission to find Santa before he departs with the reindeer for a secret mission around the world. Uncover the magic inside Santa’s Grotto, open from 10:00am – 10:00pm daily inside The Galleria on the ground floor beside Debenhams.
Feeling hungry before delving into the next stop on your festive tour around Winter Wonderland? Children’s activities including cup cake decorating and arts and crafts can be found at Santa’s Bakery. And be careful, one step inside the Winter Village, and you may find yourself transported to the North Pole.
