CELEBRATE EID AL ETIHAD (UAE NATIONAL DAY) AT RIXOS BAB AL BAHR

On December 2nd, 2024, Rixos Bab Al Bahr invites guests to celebrate Eid Al Etihad (UAE National Day) with a spectacular day full of cultural activities, entertainment, and family-friendly moments. The iconic all-inclusive family beach resort on Marjan Island will come alive with a series of immersive experiences designed to delight guests of all ages.

National Day highlights include a traditional boat ceremony, where guests can witness a timeless Emirati custom, and engaging arts and crafts workshops. Visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at traditional Emirati crafts, including Lich weaving, a technique used for crafting fishing tools, and the creation of Gargir traps, an ancient method of catching fish. A pottery workshop will also provide a hands-on experience of local craftsmanship.

Families can enjoy special activities such as a falcon experience, camel rides, and a variety of exciting offerings at the Rixy Kids Club, providing the perfect environment for both children and adults to enjoy the festivities.

Guests will also be able to indulge in culinary delights inspired by Emirati traditions, with a special buffet featuring local dishes alongside international favourites, all included as part of the resort’s all-inclusive offerings. Additionally, Isla Beach Bar will have a special daily BBQ from 01:00 pm – 04:00 pm.

The festive atmosphere will be further enhanced by performances of Al Ayala folk dances, live local tunes by a band, and appearances by roaming characters, all set against a backdrop of beautiful UAE National Day decor.
