21grams Launches Weekend Specials

From hearty steak and eggs to succulent gyros chicken, a new menu built for easy, shared weekend meals.

At 21grams, the city’s beloved urban Balkan bistro, the focus has always been on food that feels honest – rooted in tradition, but served with a sense of ease. This April, its weekend specials follow that same approach, bringing together a selection of dishes designed for slower, more relaxed meals.

The steak options lead the menu – ranging from oyster blade with beans and eggs (AED 110) to skirt steak with jir jirpesto and kashkaval (AED 120). The natur chicken (AED 85) is a must-try, finished with a brown butter sauce, garlic oil and crispy oyster mushrooms, alongside fresh greens and warm somun bread.

For something lighter, the gyros chicken (AED 95) is marinated in yogurt and spices, then paired with lemon sauce and herbs. For something more substantial, the roasted lamb (AED 125) slow-cooked with garlic, paprika and herbs, served with creamy biryan rice and roasted cherry tomatoes can never disappoint. 

To finish, there is a creamy rice pudding with strawberry, toasted coconut and olive oil, priced at AED 40.

It’s a menu that stays true to what 21grams does best: well-executed, comforting dishes made for sharing.

Whether you visit on Saturday or Sunday, each visit promises something delicious to savour. For this weekend (25–26 April), specials include steak & eggs jir jir and gyros chicken on Saturday, and steak & eggs with beans and gyros chicken on Sunday. This weekend’s specials are just the beginning – expect a rotating menu with new additions and flavours worth coming back for.
