Ginori Terrace at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai invites guests to discover an elegant new Afternoon Tea experience, celebrating one of the St. Regis brand’s most cherished rituals. Deeply rooted in the brand’s storied heritage and inspired by its iconic muse, Mrs. Caroline Astor, this timeless tradition is reimagined with artisanal craftsmanship, seasonal ingredients, and refined flavours,the menu is served within the sophisticated surroundings of the terrace overlooking the Dubai Water Canal.
The new menu begins with a refreshing amuse-bouche serving of homemade mango ice cream, setting the tone for an afternoon of indulgence. Guests can then enjoy an elegant selection of savoury bites, including Wild Smoked Salmon and Spinach Tramezzini with beetroot gel and salmon roe, Cucumber and Chive Crème Fraîche on lemon bread, Shrimp Cocktail Tart with avocado cream and edible flowers, Turkey Ham and Comté Cheese on rye bread with truffle cream, and a Butternut and Ricotta Tart finished with maple butternut and fresh chervil.
For those with a sweet tooth, the afternoon continues with an exquisite collection of handcrafted pastries, from the Chocolate Hazelnut Macaron with milk chocolate mousse, hazelnut praline and crunchy feuilletine to the delicate Fig Tartelette layered with vanilla diplomat cream. Guests can also indulge in the Signature Raspberry Cheesecake with raspberry spherification and the decadent Peanut Delight, combining peanut mousse, praline, salted caramel and Dulcey chocolate.
Freshly baked plain and cranberry scones, prepared daily in the pastry kitchen, are served alongside Cornish clotted cream and preserves, offering a timeless accompaniment to the Afternoon Tea experience. The experience concludes with Cannoncini, the beloved Italian puff pastry filled with vanilla cream, prepared and served tableside to add a touch of theatre to an afternoon celebrating craftsmanship, flavour, and the joy of sharing.
