AIGNER Presents "Arts And Crafts" Themed Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Show
A comeback for the books: After three years AIGNER was back in Milan and showcased the new Spring/Summer 2024 collection at the Fashion Week on September 21st 2023. One highlight of the collection are the two new bag series: the CYBILL Bag Honeysuckle and the NOVA Bag Honeysuckle – available soon as limited editions.
The two series have been specially designed for the runway by AIGNERs Creative Director Christian Beck. Inspired by the “Arts and Crafts Movement“ – an art trend of the 19th century – the art print „Honeysuckle“ that can be found on both series was created. The two series celebrate the love for detail and craftsmanship and are the symbol for the theme of the collection “Arts and Crafts“.
The CYBILL Bag Honeysuckle is an exclusive edition of the CYBILL Bag Stretch, a real icon with a worldwide patent on its name – no other bag can bear it. The series will be available in a medium and mini variant in the colours “Pearl“ and “Luxe Blue“. The flower print is transferred onto the leather through a digital printing technique. Like all CYBILL Bags the “Honeysuckle“ are also handmade in the AIGNER partner manufactory in Italy and once more symbolize the commitment to details and materials of highest quality.
The NOVA Bag Honeysuckle is the special edition of a vintage model from the AIGNER archive. Its reduced and clear form language is an exciting contrast to the expressive flower print. The statement handle in horseshoe shape are a subtle reference to the brand DNA of AIGNER. The special edition is available in three sizes in the colour “Pearl“. An art ful detail is the floral image of the artist William Morris made from woven jacquard which was developed and produced in a small manufactory in Italy
