In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, China Tang Dubai at The Lana Promenade introduces“Jewels of Her Strength”, a limited-edition dim sum collection available exclusively from 24–31 August 2026. Priced at AED 54 per selected dim sum basket, the collection pays tribute to the strength, grace, and achievements of Emirati women, with the price also serving as a symbolic nod to the UAE’s 54 years of unity. Inspired by this year’s theme, “We Emerge Stronger and Better,” announced by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, the collection honours the remarkable qualities and enduring spirit of Emirati women through six handcrafted dim sum creations. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to represent a precious gemstone, reflecting a unique expression of character, resilience, and elegance.
Presented as a tribute to the women who continue to shape the UAE’s future, “Jewels of Her Strength” transforms traditional dim sum artistry into a meaningful culinary experience, where colour, craftsmanship and flavour come together to celebrate strength, elegance, and individuality.
The collection has been thoughtfully crafted as a jewel in its own right, with every colour, shape and flavour representing a unique quality associated with Emirati women. The collection begins with the Pearl Garden Dumpling, inspired by the timeless elegance of the pearl, featuring a delicate water chestnut filling that symbolises purity and grace. The Sapphire Silk Dumpling reflects wisdom and depth, showcasing an assortment of mushrooms encased in a vibrant blue-hued exterior, while the Ruby Blossom Dumpling celebrates passion and courage through a striking red blossom-shaped dumpling filled with mixed vegetables. Representing balance and harmony, the Imperial Jade Dumpling features a refined jade-coloured wrapper with a luxurious scallop and shrimp filling, while the Amber Crystal Dumpling embodies warmth and generosity with its tender chicken filling. Completing the collection, the Golden Topaz Dumpling symbolises brilliance and confidence, presenting China Tang’s signature Xiao Long Bao in a radiant golden interpretation.
