AIGNER Munich Celebrates SS23 Collection with Middle East Influencer Collaboration

The best and brightest talents from the region modelled pieces from AIGNER’s range of gorgeous leather bags.

AIGNER Munich, the German brand best known for its artisanal leather handbags, recently celebrated launch of its latest collection in the Middle East. They collaborated with influencers, actors, and models from across the region, with the intent of lauding its kindred creative spirits.

Ascia Al Faraj, whom the brand has worked with in the past for the first regional collaboration, styled three different bags: The Leonie, and two iterations of the brand’s versatile Maggie bag.

Comedienne Amy Roko and fashion maven Leena Al Ghouti also showed off their unique takes on styling the Leonie Bag. Amy opted for her signature Burqa with the Forest Green bag to add a pop of colour to her outfit while Leena put her signature street style twist on the Middle East streets, opting for an all-black look.

The bucket bag is one of the few handbags that has been rendered in a Middle East-exclusive ‘Forest Green’ colourway. Creative Director Christian Beck cited his inspiration for the colour to be the mutual strength and elegance of the Middle East and the Aigner woman.

Other standout pieces from the SS23 collection, are styled by influencers Asallah Kamel, Fatimah Sultan and Talal Kahl. Asallah and Fatimah both styled the Maggie Shoulder Bag, while Talal radiated effortless chic with his Isa bag and took inspiration from the AIGNER’s iconic horeshoe logo with a beach shoot.

The SS23 collection, titled “Panta Rhei” (ancient Greek for “everything flows”) is based on a maxim by the Greek philosopher Heraclitus describing constant change in which everything flows, everything merges. The collection is thus the creative expression of a process in traditional craftsmanship meets modern manufacturing techniques and different styles coexist harmoniously.
