Light of Sakina, a Dubai-based luxury scent company is pleased to announce the launching of their latest signature collection, Tajali. The collection is a special tribute to Emirati Women’s Day, celebrating the strength, creativity, and achievements of these inspiring women.
The name “Tajali” is a powerful concept that means “the beauty within every living being, created & connected with the divine energy of the Universe. By naming their collection Tajali, Light of Sakina aims to honor the profound power and significance of Emirati women, recognizing their inner radiance and indelible contributions to society.
Founded by Naila Rahim – Light of Sakina has a mission to empower women. Its roots trace back to humble beginnings in Najaf, Iraq, where Naila taught candle-making to widows and orphans. This personal history is why she deeply resonates with this special occasion. Crafted in their Dubai atelier, the collection features three distinct Mamool Bakhour blends, each with a unique profile and story that reflects the nature of the day.
The three signature mamool blends featured in the Tajali collection are as follows:
1. Nasmah (نسمة | Meaning: A gentle breeze or soft scent)
Notes: Natural wood powder, musk, amber, sandal powder & rose water; bergamot and mandarin orange; green tea and black currant; sandalwood, petitgrain and galbanum
Vibe: Elegant, light, and calming — ideal for a fresh, soothing dakhoon

2. Sukoon (سكون | Meaning: Tranquility, peace, stillness)
Notes: Natural wood powder, musk, amber; musk amber, sandal powder & rose vanilla water; sweet, white floral, opulent

3. Asrar (أسرار | Meaning: Secrets or mysteries)

Mamool Bakhour is a traditional form of bakhoor incense, where “Mamool” means “made” or “prepared” in Arabic and they are crafted from a blend of perfume oils, oud chips, musk, amber, and florals, pressed into unique forms. Known for its sweeter, more perfumed scent compared to raw oud chips, it leaves a lasting fragrance on clothes and in living spaces.
In celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, Light of Sakina will participate in two major events on Thursday the 28th of August 2025. They are co-hosting an event with Dubai Holdings, at Madinat Jumeirah which will feature immersive workshops, sessions, and performances. Additionally, the founder of Light of Sakina will take part in this year’s Womenpreneurs x Emirati Summit, at Hilton Al Habtoor, where she will speak on a panel about business growth and creativity. Additionally, Light of Sakina will be curating a Scent Majilis where women will experience Arabian hospitality and the art of Scent.
