Combining eco-consciousness with care, the handcrafted pillows will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation and breast cancer patients across the UAE, in line with the UAE’s Year of Community.
This Pinktober, Rove Hotels is once again giving back to society through another thoughtful initiative. The hotel brand, known for its dedication to sustainability and community empowerment, has repurposed discarded hotel pillowcases into more than 500 soft underarm comfort pillows for breast cancer patients. Designed to bring relief and support to women recovering from surgery, the initiative, in line with the UAE’s Year of Community, highlights Rove’s ongoing efforts to combine purpose with action.
For this initiative, Rove Hotels joined hands with the Sew Bee-Cause Community, Dr. Annett Al Hamadi, one of Dubai’s leading Consultant Breast Surgeons, and Stephanie H. Neuhold, Hotel Manager of Rove Dubai Marina and a breast cancer thriver. Most of the pillows will be donated to Al Jalila Foundation, the global healthcare philanthropic organization leading Dubai Health’s giving mission, while the remainder will be distributed across the wider UAE community to extend the reach of support.
