Furthermore, the Mahenge Spinel is valued for its minimal treatment, unlike rubies, it is not subject to heat enhancement, and most stones display exceptional clarity naturally. In rare cases, minor crack-filling may be used, similar to techniques applied to emeralds and Paraiba tourmalines.
