A new lunch ritual for business catch-ups and intimate gatherings, set against the iconic view of Burj Al Arab
MEI, the stunning Chinese-Japanese dining destination at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, is introducing a new weekday lunch concept on October 27, “Essence of MEI.” Designed for both corporate and leisure guests, this new offering blends MEI’s refined culinary philosophy with approachability, flavour, and value.

Available Monday to Friday, the curated lunch menu showcases a balanced journey through MEI’s signature dishes. Guests can begin with light and refreshing starters such as Miso Soup, Spinach Salad, or Crispy Squid, followed by delicate Salmon Maki, a choice between Tiger Prawn Chang Fen, Prawn and Chicken Shanghai or Mix Vegetable Dumpling, and a selection of signature main courses including Wok-Style Spicy Prawn, Kung Pao Cornfed Chicken, Black Cod with Black Bean Sauce, or Eggplant Tofu in Black Bean Sauce

Perfectly complemented with sides like fragrant Jasmine Rice, fluffy Egg Fried Rice, or sautéed Pok Choi, the experience can be elevated further with Chef’s Daily Dessert Selection for an additional AED 40. Priced at AED 185 per person, “Essence of MEI” showcases the kitchen’s craft in balance and texture.

With its sunlit interiors and perfect views of the iconic Burj Al Arab, MEI offers a calm midday escape where contemporary design meets Chinese and Japanese culinary heritage, a setting that lends itself beautifully to business lunches, intimate gatherings, or quiet moments alone.
