ETRO is pleased to unveil the new Pony Bag, interpreted by Iris Law in a playful and joyful portrait. Designed by Creative Director Marco De Vincenzo, the new Pony Bag is a testament to ETRO’s heritage, innovative spirit, and commitment to creating timeless objects, meticulously crafted in every detail.

Its shape revisits a 17th-century classic of Italian leather goods: the “cacciatorina”, once used by shepherds and farmers and now reimagined as a symbol of ETRO’s love for the 70s bohemian mood. The original rounded silhouette is restyled with a softer, more deconstructed vibe: proportions are completely reimagined, with a minimized flap closing at the top, and details including the Pegasus-embossed coin closure, the Paisley-accented carabiner, and the roller buckle inspired by the world of saddlery.
The launch campaign portrays this new icon through a playful and intimate lens, a journey of a cosmopolitan, off-beat, effortlessly chic muse: British model Iris Law is captured as she moves freely through the city.
Built through a dynamic collage of cinematic perspectives, the narrative is warm, spontaneous, and slightly nostalgic —a contemporary portrait of joy, independence, and self-expression.
A glance, a step, a gesture, a smile, different moments and viewpoints celebrate the multifaceted nature of ETRO’s modern aesthetic and the vibrant and eclectic essence of the Pony Bag.
