New UAE meal plan combines calorie-controlled meals with 30g+ of protein per meal, personalised dietitian support and everyday flexibility
iDiet, the premium healthy food and diet meal plan brand in the UAE, has recently launched a new Protein-Packed Meal Plan designed to make protein a practical part of everyday eating without making every meal feel like a fitness regimen. Designed around protein-rich, chef-crafted meals, the new plan combines balanced nutrition with flexible meal choices and ongoing support from a dedicated dietitian.

The calorie-controlled plan includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and one snack, with each meal containing a minimum of 30g of protein. Its approach is crafted to help people stay fuller for longer, manage cravings, maintain steadier energy and support muscle while working towards their weight-management goals.
The plan is designed with a range of consumers in mind, including women over 40, people using GLP-1 medications, and those looking to manage their weight while maintaining muscle mass. Sabine Karam, CEO and Co-founder of iDiet, says consumers are increasingly looking beyond calories and asking more about protein, fibre and the nutritional value of what is actually on their plate.
“Protein is having a moment, but more isn’t always the answer. What matters is getting enough of the right nutrients in food you genuinely enjoy and can sustain. We see this particularly with people using GLP-1 medication, who may be eating much smaller portions and assume they need less nutrition because they don’t feel as hungry as before. In reality, when you are eating less, every bite needs to count more, not less. That’s where protein and nutrient density become especially important. Our aim is to make protein part of a balanced, personalised approach to eating, with meals that are nutritious, varied and genuinely enjoyable,” said Sabine Karam, CEO and Co-founder of iDiet.

Unlike iDiet’s existing High-Protein Plan, which is more geared towards bodybuilders and those focused on building muscle, the new Protein-Packed Meal Plan is designed for everyday use. It combines a calorie-controlled structure and protein-rich meals with broader weight-management goals, making it suitable for people who want to prioritise protein without following a performance-focused diet.
The plan takes a food-first approach, incorporating protein-rich ingredients into meals inspired by Mediterranean, Asian, Oriental and international cuisines. In other words, high-protein eating does not have to mean chicken and broccoli on repeat.
The launch also reflects iDiet’s wider approach to personalised nutrition. The brand offers more than 12 meal-plan programmes, including high-protein, keto, vegan, anti-inflammatory, pregnancy and intermittent-fasting options. Customers can adjust elements such as calories, meal frequency, exclusions and meal swaps, with ongoing guidance from a dedicated dietitian as their goals, preferences and routines change.

For Sabine, taste remains essential to making healthier eating last. After more than 16 years working across nutrition, food and healthy meal planning, she believes even the most carefully structured diet is unlikely to stick if people dread what is on their plate. Protein may be having its moment but taste still gets the final vote.
Operating in the UAE since 2021, iDiet is the UAE brand of HealthBox Diet and Nutrition Center, founded in Lebanon in 2010 by Sabine Karam. iDiet currently serves more than 3,500 customers and delivers over one million meals annually in the UAE.
The new Protein-Packed Meal Plan is now available across the UAE.
