Founder Sheena Zadeh has always found her truest beauty references in art, and especially in the Impressionists: painters who worked from instinct rather than outline, letting shape and color speak without a hard edge in sight. The name is a nod to that sensibility, and the packaging follows the same logic: sized to feel considered in hand and finished with a silver, ferrule-like band that recalls the tools of an artist, part paintbrush, part marker, so that using it feels a little like making something.
Getting the formula right meant chasing a very particular balance of glide, finish, and wear. Impressionist Multistick melts in on contact, builds slowly into a natural flush rather than a mask of color, and wears for up to 12 hours without ever turning sticky or tacky. Every detail, down to the width of the stick itself, was tuned so it would move as easily across cheekbones as it does across lips.
