Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai launches Spa & Wellness, marking the occasion with a bespoke Sanctum movement experience and community iftar taking place during a powerful lunar eclipse.
Widely regarded as a powerful spiritual alignment symbolising transformation and renewal, the eclipse resonates with the sun and moon themes embedded within philosophy of The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai. The date also aligns with the conclusion of Chinese New Year and falls during Ramadan, creating a considered dialogue between the hotel’s Asian heritage and cherished local traditions.
The experience will be hosted on Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai’s 11th floor rooftop terrace, framed by unobstructed sunset views and sweeping skyline and shoreline vistas. Against this backdrop, Sanctum founder Luuk Melisse will lead a session designed specifically for the launch. Blending mindful movement with meditation, the experience will bring together the region’s wellness community for a collective, music-led journey centred on strength, clarity and connection.
The evening concludes with a community iftar at Noia by the Pool, Sanctum’s first in the region. Sanctum co-founder Gab Olszewski will join Melisse for this intimate gathering, reinforcing the shared sense of community that sits at the heart of Sanctum and Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai.
The launch will also introduce Sanctum’s long-awaited Affirmation Cards, presented as a tangible extension of the occasion.
