This Ramadan, Blue Door at Delano Dubai, in collaboration with Arcadia by Amna, presents a scent-led garden experience, Majlis of Memories, that brings together fragrance, storytelling, and Anatolian-Levantine cuisine. Set within the restaurant’s tranquil garden and framed by soft lighting, the experience offers a sensorial interpretation of Iftar rooted in ritual, reflection, and togetherness.
Whimsical styling, and subtle notes of bakhoor create an intimate atmosphere, allowing guests to slow down and connect through the emotional language of scent. At the centre of the experience is a bespoke Arcadia scent bar, where guests can create a personalised 15ml perfume inspired by the aromas of their favourite memories. Curated notes to key ingredients, from warm spices and soft florals to resinous woods, bring the fragrance story to life throughout the garden.
The Majlis of Memories invites guests to share a cherished Ramadan moment or a scent that holds personal meaning, displayed along the garden path to create a living collection of shared stories. The Iftar menu complements the scent experience with flavour-led storytelling, incorporating subtle notes of citrus, saffron, vanilla, and spices. Guests begin with a traditional platter of honey, kaymak with dates, dried figs, walnuts, Ezine cheese, and black olives, followed by Turkish lentil soup and a rotating seasonal soup. Mezze and salads include Urfa Ezme, Yaz Cacığı, Atom with charcoal-grilled eggplant, beetroot with goat’s cheese, and sour cherry–infused stuffed vine leaves.
Warm starters such as Mücver zucchini patties and beef Manti lead into mains including Adana kebab, Sis Tavuk marinated chicken, beef medallions, and daily chef’s selections inspired by Ottoman and coastal Mediterranean cuisine, served with classic Turkish rice and sautéed vegetables. Dessert features pistachio baklava, rose-scented Güllaç, Kunafa, Qatayef, Umm Ali, Basbousa, Turkish delight, Maras ice cream, and seasonal fruits.
