A STUDY IN CONTRAST: ROKSANDA SPRING-SUMMER 2025

7.37KViews

ROKSANDA’s SpringSummer 2025 collection is a study in contrasts—a poetic tension between nature and industry, softness and structure, tradition and innovation.

Inspired by Hungarian environmental artist Agnes Denes and her iconic 1982 installation Wheatfield – A Confrontation, the collection reflects the ongoing dialogue between the organic and the constructed. Fluid dresses and sharp tailoring meet in unexpected harmony, crafted from luxurious fabrics like silk twill, liquid velvet, and wool-mélange.  Roksanda’s signature volumes are reimagined with pleated, floral-inspired forms using recycled materials, underscoring the interplay between natural beauty and conscious design. Meanwhile, prints rooted in the designer’s Serbian heritage echo the flowing rivers of the Sava and Danube, while textured elements like raffia and fil-coupé evoke the raw tactility of harvest fields.

A vivid, painterly palette ties it all together—moving fluidly from soft pastels to grounded earth tones and rich jewel hues—each shade another contrast in this thoughtful, multifaceted collection.
