Visit Jebel Jais proudly announces the launch of the 2025/26 season. As the cooler season returns to the UAE, the country’s highest peak welcomes residents and visitors to reconnect with nature, with friends and family, and with themselves.
Jebel Jais is more than a destination; it is a place where life comes together, shaped by rock formations over 70 million years old. The new season, running through April 2026, invites guests to explore the mountain through three key pillars: educate, energise, and escape. Each pillar is designed to inspire curiosity, movement, and connection in its purest form.
Educate: Curiosity and Discovery at New Heights
Jebel Jais has long been a place of learning through experience – a living classroom where discovery is shared across generations. Visitors can join guided hikes that uncover the mountain’s natural heritage, learn survival skills at the Bear Grylls Explorers Camp (BGEC), or simply pause at the Jais Viewing Deck Park to take in the geology that has shaped Ras Al Khaimah for millions of years.
The Bear Grylls Explorers Camp, the first of its kind globally, reopens this season with an expanded programme. This includes survival courses, team-building challenges and adventure activities, from rock climbing and abseiling to air rifle shooting and high ropes course. Overnight cabins nestled in the heart of the mountains offer a true back-to-nature experience under the stars.
Energise: Movement, Vitality and Renewal in Nature
As the UAE’s high-altitude hub for fitness and mindfulness, Jebel Jais continues to energise visitors through experiences that combine physical challenge with inner calm. Following the success of PEAK HEAT, the UAE’s first outdoor hot fitness experience, this season will feature new yoga sessions, guided hikes and sunrise
meditations. Each experience is crafted to restore energy and clarity amid the inspiring setting of the mountains.
Jebel Jais also remains one of the favourite escapes for supercar enthusiasts, luxury sports car groups, classic car communities and the wider automotive scene, who are drawn to its 28-kilometre winding mountain roads for the iconic drive, breathtaking vistas, and the unparalleled sense of freedom at the UAE’s highest peak.
Thrill-seekers can find their own rhythm in motion on Jais Flight, the world’s longest zipline, or take in the sweeping beauty of the Hajar Mountains on the Jais Sky Tour, a six-platform aerial journey that blends adrenaline with awe. Here, movement becomes renewal and every heartbeat echoes the mountain’s flow of energy.
Escape: Shared Moments and Mountain Connection
To escape to Jebel Jais is to find balance for sharing time, laughter and connection high above the everyday. Across its peaks, valleys and terraces, visitors can enjoy moments that bring people together, over a meal, a hike or a quiet view.
Dining continues to elevate the Jebel Jais experience. At 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest and award-winning restaurant, guests can indulge in fresh, seasonal produce and ingredients sustainably sourced from the mountain. Each dish celebrates the region’s rich culture while showcasing a vibrant fusion of international flavours.
This season also marks the arrival of Red Rock BBQ, an exciting new dining concept by RIKAS Hospitality Group in partnership with Marjan. Opening this month, Red Rock BBQ will celebrate the beauty of Jebel Jais with its grill-focused, open-flame dining experience that blends high quality ingredients, refined design, and panoramic mountain views – capturing the very essence of the mountains.

Throughout the 2025/26 season, visitors can look forward to a full calendar of outdoor experiences, community gatherings and special events, including:
- Mid-November 2025: Opening of Red Rock BBQ by RIKAS Hospitality Group
- November 2025: Porsche Community and Icons Drives to 1484 by Puro
- Starts 30th November – Jan 2026: Elevate Jebel Jais; a 4–6-week wellness and movement series held every Sunday morning featuring Yoga, Boot Camps, Pilates, Boxing, Full Moon Yoga and Kids’ Fun & Functional Fitness sessions designed to encourage balance, vitality and connection through the mountain’s natural energy.
- December 2025: Miglia Classic Cars Rally and Christmas Brunch at 1484 by Puro
- January 2026: Ultra Trail Running Competition
- February 2026: Highlander Hiking & Camping Festival and UAE Tour
- March 2026: UAE Kick Boxing Competition and Night Trail Race
- April 2026: Jais Ride
- June to August 2026: PEAK HEAT Hot Yoga Sessions
Regular highlights include:
- A weekend shuttle bus service from Jebel Jais to and from Al Marjan Island and Al Hamra will be launching at the end of November 2025, including key stops at neighbouring hotels.
- Weekly guided yoga and meditation sessions in partnership with local fitness studios.
- Weekly guided hikes every Saturday morning, including four separate special edition hikes each month with 15 slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. These will cater to a range of levels throughout the month and led by qualified instructors.
- Destination packages combining adventure and dining experiences across Jais Flight, Jais Sky Tour, 1484 by Puro and Red Rock Barbecue.
- Family weekends, school outings and corporate retreats at the Bear Grylls Explorers Camp.
- Festive and wellness-focused events, from winter celebrations to Earth Day activations in April.
